ALICIA SERENKO

Olesja (known in the U.S. as 'Alicia') is from the former USSR. As the daughter of a Colonel and a doctor, Alicia traveled extensively growing up. She has lived in Novosibirsk (sister city of Minneapolis!), Almaty (Kazahstan), Riga (Latvia). Alicia's life experiences have taught her to be flexible, think on-her-toes, and to embrace challenges and new experiences with grace and hard work.

Professionally, Alicia is the Sales and Marketing Manager at TIPS Consulting, LLC. Responsibilities include creating relationships with Fortune 500 companies and assisting corporate Hiring Managers with their procurement and staffing needs. Alicia is also assisting in the launch of Tekruiter.com, a Twin Cities-based job board focusing on IT/Technology talent.

Previously, she was a Sales Director for the US Edition of a digital publication based in London, UK and a Lead Enrollment Counselor at Capella University. Olesja has 15+ years of Sales and Marketing experience and enjoys relationship building and account management. Additionally, she oversees Marketing and Communications for the American-Russian Chamber of Commerce, which she helped to organize. Alicia has a B.S. degree from Lakeland College, Madison, WI and a Masters degree from City University of London, UK.

Alicia's 12-year-old daughter, Siobhan is an active member of a competitive team of the local rhythmic gymnastics club, Northwest Rhythmic Gymnastics. In May, you can find Alicia on stage at the Excel Energy Center, performing Russian folk dance at the Festival of Nations.
